The last stop of the Online Birds Sightseeing Bus was at the brewery site of Giesinger Brauerei, a little outside the centre of Munich. We celebrated there at Werk 2, an event location of Giesinger Bräu. Fun Fact: The Giesinger Brewery had to dig its own well in this area for water from the Munich city area, as brewing with Munich tap water is not enough to call itself a "Munich Brewery".

After a speech by our Managing Director André, who reviewed the year 2022 and praised the successes of all departments, the evening was rounded off by good food, tasty drinks and our own DJ.

For those who didn't want to end the evening on the Werk 2 dance floor, taxis were available to take them to Munich's Glockenbachviertel bar district.

One of the highlights of the evening was the location challenge raffle. Every employee can apply to win a trip to another Online Birds location. This means that Online Birds will cover all travel costs as well as accommodation in Munich, Berlin or Lisbon.

Konrad, our winner of the Lisbon stay, tells us what he expects from his trip:

Question: Hi Konrad, why did you choose Lisbon for the Location Challenge? Is this your first time there?

Konrad: There are several reasons. For one thing, unlike Munich and Berlin, I've never been to Portugal and many who have been there rave about the beautiful country and city. I would also like to see our office there and get an impression.

Question: What do you like about the Location Challenge and what do you want to take away from it?

Konrad: I'm really looking forward to getting out and about and getting to know my colleagues even better. Of course, we're all networked online, but a week like this gives you other opportunities, be it in the office or in the course of a 'Super Bocks' evening.

Question: Have you already made plans for your stay?

Konrad: My parents, many friends and acquaintances have already been there and given me tips. I'm definitely a fan of the sea and I'll also try out a few culinary delights during the week. I would also like to go on a wine tour and am thinking about possibly travelling there by car and doing a kind of road trip in advance.
