When I won the annual location challenge at the 2021 Christmas party, where a stay in one of the locations is raffled off, I was able to get to know Lisbon professionally and privately for the first time. I fell in love with the city straight away: the proximity to the beach, the climate and also the openness of the people quickly made me realise that life here could be pretty exciting.

Back in Munich, I then had a few conversations about the possibility of living and working at our location in Portugal. After six months, I now find myself in our sunny office in Lisbon. I am grateful that I was offered not only a new city, but also a new challenge.

Since the beginning of the year, in addition to my position as Social Media Manager, I have also been leading the Office Management here in Lisbon. I am looking forward to my upcoming time here in Portugal and to discovering the new culture and meeting new people. I am excited to expand my horizons and grow as a person. Already, I have made so many beautiful new friends and experienced unforgettable moments that have confirmed to me that my move to Lisbon was absolutely the right decision!
